Cleaning Kit

A small Kit containing tools and consumables used to remove the Tsuka to inspect and clean the Katana after a training session. The aim is to remove any dirt and moisture or fingerprints which may be corrosive and cause damage to the blade. Once cleaned, A thin coating of Oil of Cloves is then applied to preserve the blade until next training session. We recommend the pegs (mekugi) also be checked at this time to prevent the blade from coming loose and possibly causing injury. Where possible two pegs sould be used in case of failure of one.
