BJJ Uniforms

Yoroi is the Japanese term for body armour that was used to protect the samurai in battle prior to 1603. In fact before the term jujutsu (jiu-jitsu) was coined, the art was known by many names one of which was Kumiuchi. Yoroi-Kumiuchi was the term used to describe for grappling in armour.

We considered there can be no better term for the serious BJJ student or instructor than to have their Gi referred to as body-armour, serving to assist their struggle for victory.

This category contains Top Quality uniforms designed for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but may be adopted for any Jujutsu style wishing to present a more visible and upmarket training uniform
